Can parents and visitors observe class?
We ask that all observers wait outside of the dance studio once your dancer is safely in the class. Dance 1 will provide you with a Zoom link so you may watch and listen to class through your device or laptop.

What can my Combo dancer wear?
Our Combo (Preschool) dancers must wear something comfortable enough to dance in. Ballet dresses, princess gowns, leggings & shirts, tights & leotards are all acceptable. Please no jeans and no tummies showing and no outside shoes on our dance floors.

Is there a uniform for the Youth classes?
Yes, beginning with our “Pre” levels, dancers must be in uniform. These items will need to be purchased from our dance store, Dance 2-Tu. Please ask front desk for details.

What is your makeup class policy?
Makeup classes expire 6 weeks from the day they missed. They can be used for the same class on a different day or for a different class within their level. If the studio is closed for a holiday, your dancer will receive a makeup class. No refunds.

What can I wear as an Adult Student?
Anything that you can move comfortably in will be appropriate. Please no jeans, crop tops or short shorts. No oustide shoes are permitted on our dance floors. Feel free to wear leotards with wrap skirts or yoga pants with t-shirts. Ballet & jazz shoes optional.

Are there recitals?
YES! Dance 1 holds TWO dance recitals per year. An outdoor showcase in the Spring, which is held at Wilson Park in Torrance and an indoor Winter Showcase that will be held at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. ALL dancers can participate!

Do you accept school funds?
Yes! We accept funds from Charter, Blue Ridge, Sky Mountain and iLead! Please contact us with questions!
